i got them on the fronts of my TT. in the rear i have Goodyear GS-C. I don't do track racing or anything like that. I use my car as a saturday night special, i like to take turns fast, but thats the limit of what i expect out of handling. I rate them slightly better than the Nitto's they replaced. The way i rate it is when i hear the tires sqealing, they are at their limits. The Kumhos can handle a bit more speed during the turns before i hear the squealing. So they are not bad tires at all, but i am sure Michilin Pilots or Yokohama AVS Sports would out handle these tires, but they also cost twice as much. Good cheap rubber that have some performance is what i can say about it. Deffinatly not blow my mind handling, but it does have GOOD grip for a VERY cheap price. -Ketan : good? I was looking at the Tire Rack rating thing and ppl say they are very good there. I have had 2 sets of Yoko A520's now, and I really liked my first set, but the second set sucked, If I couldn't see them, I would swear they were a different type of tire. Anyway, the TWI on the Yoko's is like 180, and the Kumho's are like 340. That is sinifigantly higher, and I am wondering how that translated into reduced grip or what? Ppl seem to have ranked the grip of the Kumho higher than the Yoko's...what am I missing here, is there not a direct correlation btwn compound softness and grip? I need some new tires for my NA very soon, and am not sure what to get. I want to spend about $100/tire or so.
: Thanks, : Mike
